Platus holiday park is a small but well-established park. We stayed in one of the four supercomfortable lodges, equipped with private luxury sanitary facilities. The owners are very hospitable and caring. More than enough attention has been paid to the comfort of children: a large playground, a super pool and a private log cabin filled with games and books. Bring your own toys is not necessary! There are ample sunbeds for the parents and a small restaurant. The pizzas, BBQ and table d’hôtes are delicious. An absolute must if you want to glow with the kids!

Occasionally there are those gems that you would rather not tell the rest of the world: Platus in the Dordogne. Jos and Esther (and Janouk) have unleashed energy to make the stay as pleasant as possible for all guests. For both the children and the parents. The children can play endlessly with the other children on the extensive playing field. The toppers for our children (4 and 6 years old) were the swimming pool, the search trip, the seafront and the campfire. We stayed in a safari lodge that really provided all the comforts: rain shower, double sink, box spring beds, large fridge, large porch. You can also have good food and drink in the restaurant. In short, we will definitely be back!

A clear, small-scale holiday park with cottages and safari lodges. We had rented a lodge and these are provided with all the conveniences; A lovely shower, good beds, NL books and magazines and a fantastic outdoor kitchen on the veranda. Good water pressure, good hot water and plenty of space. The lodges look out over the park on a large field with trampolines, the kids club, a roller coaster, swings etc. At the park there is a nice swimming pool (deepest point is very deep) with good sunbeds around it. The owners are warm and involved people who, in addition to their day-to-day activities in the park, really do their best to make it all the best.
Highly recommended!

Platus is a small-scale holiday park with a number of cottages and four safari trails. We stayed with our 4 year old daughter in a safari lodge. It was equipped with all the conveniences. Lots of space, toilet and shower and on the covered porch the (outside) kitchen. From the terrace you have a good overview on the playground, so the children are always in the sight and that is reassuring feeling. For the children there is a separate (youth) base with toys, games, books. So you do not really have to bring anything. There are trampolines, roller coaster, table tennis and a (relatively large) swimming pool. For viewing the area or groceries you have to enter the car, but that is soon discussed in France. Rocamadour and Cahors are recommended. A beautiful 30 minute walk through the woods and past fields comes out in the village where you can have a cup of coffee. The owners are friendly and understand how to balance space / privacy and child friendliness. I think they still have enough plans for the coming year, so keep an eye on their website. We will be back in any case.
